La Recoleta Cemetery

Yesterday me and the girls visited Recoleta Cemetary. It is the burial location of many of the most famous Argentinians. Most famous to Americans is probably the ever-popular Eva Peron or Evita.

The cemetary is massive and you need a map just to navigate it.

I was there today


A view of the back taken a little later in the day. Eva Perron used to rally her followers from the balcony up top in the first photo. Madonna was also here to shoot the movie Evita


In Peru there was a foot race and in Argentina there was a bike race. Granted I have no idea what it was because the announcer should have worked as an auctioneer.
