Camping in July 08

After the beach I took a night off at home and then realized I needed a vacation so I packed up and headed out on a camping trip.

Some serious packing happened.


When we got there it was raining so we hung out in the picnic shelter for a while

It was really nice today

I made some serious Buffalo Shrimp

they were delicious

Now I am back at the house doing my online class and getting ready to head back to the camp for the night. It is rough being this guy

Chincoteague 08

SO Bob invited me on vacation...

Since my family was busy I said goodbye to Bob's... ignore what his dad is doing






The days were good

The nights were better

Just ask Bob... yes there are two pwople underneath him

There were good times

and emotional ones

(OK totally off the topic but if you see this guy... run)

Bob learned that he couldn't buy love (yes he is holding a quarter)

And I continued my WV tradition of showering outside.

and we almost ran head first into a tractor trailer

Bob was yelling to "Bring it on!"

Then I became "The Man"

and Bob got a job at Chippendale's

The food was good

I was elected King

To celebrate we rocked out

Me and Chris rocked these sweet glow-stick shades out one night

He used them to catch moths

I used them to catch ladies

and in the end we all felt a little bit like this

Chincoteague Invitational Pong Tourney

Beach update

I am currently at chincoteague island in VA with Bob and some of his family. As I am typing this I am sitting on a dock on the bayside of the island taking in some sun... life is rough. Here is a pic of the view, well I have to go do what it is that I do.

The other beach

I am now at Chincoteague beach or something like that... just north of Viginia Beach. Bob brought me along for some fun.

Brief Time in the Burg

Here is just a short summary of what I have done in the burg since returning from the beaches. Of course today I am heading back to the beach for a bonus week. Chincoteague Island, North of Virginia Beach is my next stop for a week or so.

I did some grilling in the backyard. Bob showed up wearing this T-shirt.

The next day I grilled up some serious ribs... I would have an after picture, but I ate them too fast.

Then I went to the Doc and he told me that I could start running and doing anything else on my gimp leg that I wanted to. Great Success...
To celebrate our last night in the burg Bob wanted to dance, so he started in the car.

While I was out I bumped into Raz. He said that taking this picture violated his contract... he also said a lot of other stuff that didn't make a lot of sense.

Now to the beach

Drive Home and Myrtle

I crashed in Myrtle Beach for a couple of nights on the way home to spend some bonus time on the beach. I just wish I could have surfed.

Headin Out

The second day they declared NO SWIMMING due to some jellyfish. The lifeguard had already blown her whistle at me once for going for than 10 feet into the ocean. It was just over waist deep.

So I left the beach and played some great games of Connect 4 by myself. (Sometimes for kicks I changed the game to Connect 6 to be rebellious).

Stoppin in to see Harman

On my return home from Florida I stopped off to see Harman. I have known him since I was 4 so it is crazy to see him now that he is married, living in Charleston SC, and just moving into his first house.

I did find out that I have a superpower. Sadly it is the power to allocate random Porta-potties in Charleston, SC.

Euro 2008 - It was a good run Turkey

I will let it be known that I was a little Turkish this summer. The Euro Soccer Championships created a fan out of me. Turkey made an amazing run and Alex and I made an amazing shirt. Congrats to Spain on the victory, and thanks to Turkey for the memories.

Golfing - The Final Round

Alex and I went our for the final round of golf. The raincheck was for nine holes so of course we played a few extra.
